Bio

Putting together successful private funding programs requires knowledge and experience. I have extensive experience with both Internet and print media and have been working with DMOs to create programs using their print and internet assets.

Current and past clients include the Greater Miami CVB, Charlotte RVA, DMAI, Oklahoma City CVB, Toronto CVB, Atlanta CVB and the Sevier County TDC to name a few.

Working for USDM.net for almost 5 years as Director of Advertising Sales I consulted with our DMO clients to help them monetize their Internet assets (web sites, emails, social networks and others). Previously, I was the vice president of ad sales for Weatherbug, a desktop Internet application. Also, I served as vice president of ad sales for Cox Interactive Media (CIMedia) which ran a network of local web portals. Prior to joining CIMedia, I was vice president of sales-east coast, for EarthWeb, a technology based business-to-business Internet publishing company. I also worked for McGraw Hill as Marketing Development Manager and Regional Sales Manager at BYTE Magazine. Additional experience includes sales and sales management experience for technology focused publishers CMP Media and Ziff-Davis Publishing.

My college degree is a BS in Business Administration with a Finance major and Business Computer Programming minor.

I combine technological knowledge about the Internet, deep understanding of marketing/advertising and the financial aspects of running an organization with extensive experience in sales/sales management to provide a valued opinion about how to create additional funding programs for my clients.
